"Grace" is the first creation of my African Goddess Collection titled "Esinam". She represents the self-love, compassion, and grace I learned to embody throughout one of the most challenging periods of my life. Through uncertain and sometimes frightening life-changing transitions, I unconditionally extended grace to myself for doing my best, no matter the outcome, and a beautiful Goddess emerged as a result.
"Esinam" is a Ghanaian / West African name that translates to a variation of: "God heard me," or "The Lord heard my prayers." The prophetic meaning of Esinam is quite precious to me, as it is also my birth name. One can imagine the significance of carrying a name with a vibration as powerful as this, I'm sure. However, with guidance from my ancestors, I have been called to share the love, beauty, grace, resilience, and miracles I have experienced living under divine protection by such a sacred affirmation through my art. May this collection bring you as much joy as I experience creating it.
